A Bit About Matthew Nicoletti

I am a Bachelor of Sports Media graduate from the University of Canberra. I majored in Sports Media and Journalism in which I completed my studies in 2017.

I aspire of breaking into the world of football media. Whether it is in television, radio or as a writer, I want to report on the world game.

I am the co-creator and host of the M&M Podcasts, the Canberra Football Show. With a lack of media presence for the local game in Canberra Australia we report on it in earnest. We provide game previews, match breakdowns and discussions. We also interview a variety of talent from coaches, players and presidents to make sure all voices are heard. We also delve into the history of the game in the city which is richer than many would believe. Whilst I commentate on matches from time to time for Bar TV Sports.

I also currently run a café called Suppeto Collective which we have built from the ground up. It has given me a lot invaluable experience in dealing with colleagues, fixing situations and most importantly running the social media and marketing sectors of the business.

I have also written for the Daily Football Show and hosted a local radio program on Valley FM called Valley FM FC/Fever Pitch. Whilst I have previously interned at Capital Football and The Canberra Times.

Along with my strong love for football, I also have a passion for film and television. Experiencing journalism on this front is also another career goal of mine.
